Root SD card issues on rooted desire

Hi there, after finally getting my new ROM to be stable and work properly its started to have some trouble with the SD card. ([ROM] OxygenZM 1.2 [Complete] - xda-developers is my rom)

Basically the phone is failing to read the sd card properly. Im trying to view my gallery, it recognises there are files there (shows a blank tile for each of the screenshots that i have taken) however there are no image previews and pressing the blank tile just brings up a blank screen and the text "no thumbnail".

If i try and use the camera it says "insert an sd card before using the camera".

My sd card is firmly inserted and if i go to storage in the settings menu it clearly shows how much space i have left etc,

Also if i try to download an app or update from the play store i receive a 492 error. Sometimes wiping my dalvik and cache from recovery solves the problem but evidently its just a temporary solution.

Hey Ruswit, since we are dealing with a rooted, ROM'd phone, I went ahead and moved this to the All Things Root section. Thanks for understanding.

I had a similar problem with my phone, was advised on here to delete the .thumbnails folder and all it's contents from the DCIM folder that is storing your photo's. Worked a treat after that.
