SD Card not recognised?

So long as either your PC or phone recognise the card is there either can format it. If there is no recognition of the card being there, I'm afraid your going to have to purchase another or chaseyour supplier for a replacement.

Although I find SanDisk very good quality (only manufacturer I ever use for SD cards), so many people have had issues with the standard one supplied with the phone.

HTC must have asked them to make them some for cheap or something.

I'm getting that feeling however I changed mine out for the 8gig one I've had for a while and gave my wife the N95 and the 4gig card and she isn't suffering at the moment but I'll be sure to backup all her pictures each day and keep an eye on the card.

Hahah. I gave mine to my fiance as I had an 8GB one too. She never used it though. She still has a 1GB in her Hero.

The one in mine was a 4gb Samsung card, I bought a SanDisk replacement, I hope this isn't gonna be a common issue buying new cards every month

If you bought a SanDisk separately, you should be fine. If you keep getting the issue it may be the phone, or your computer corrupting it or something.

Oh yes I got it out of Carphone Warehouse, Perhaps Memory cards are like Windows, where you can buy OEM versions and Retail, perhaps the OEM's aren't up to as good a quality.
