Help SD Card question / Closing apps question / dowload question

Three total newbie questions (try not to laugh)

1) how do I view what's on my SD card?? And how do I even put things there in the first place?

2) I see all this talk about app killers (pro/con) but I don't know if there is a way to actually close apps properly. Is there?

3) if I download something form the internet (like say a menu from a restaurant) how do I go and find that later??

For 1 and 3, use a file explorer like "File Explorer" or my favorite, "AndExplorer"

For #2, I use System Panel, which lets me just tap an application and choose "End," closing it. The Android OS itself handles memory very well though, so you don't NEED to "close" programs like on Windows or Blackberry.
