Help SD card removed unexpectedly

guys the memory card problem s indeed solved and m not bluffing.install the indian firmware using odin.the full method is given in galaxyygaming.blogspot.com.

try this

2)about phone

but i prefer the first method n the problem s indeed solved.cheers

i have just purches the samsung galaxy y nd after 10 days samsung shows there reala image in the competition of mobile word..........

i have faced lots of problem during the use of mobile firstly i face that the mobile is getting automatically restarted nd now faceing new problem that memory card get automatically removed...........in my life 1st time i purches the samsung mobile bcoz of android but i am felling so guilty............. really cheap samsung performance............ :mad::mad::mad:

I faced same problem in my phone and updated the firmware from 2.3.6 (S5360DDKK1 ) to 2.3.6 (S5360DDKL1). But still this problem exist. Then i format the SD Card in FAT32. But it help me for 5 day. But again this problem is happening.

If anybody has fixed/solved this issue, please help me.

I faced the same problem but now it is gone... i bought galaxy y in december 2011 from then i was getting this error.. i tried many things but didn't work..

Finally i updated my cellphone with latest firmware though my phone's internal software update option last week. I'll advice you to do the same from getting rid of this problem.

Go to settings>about phone>software update>update...

ensure you have a good internet connectivity.

the latest patch is s5360DDLA1 my original base band version was s5360DDKJ1...
I got the following four patches when updating

DDKK1
DDKL1
DDKL2
and the final
DDLA1 the phone restarts after every patch download.

Here is how to fix the issue:
1) Samsung Galaxy Y Manual page 16

Formatting your memory card on a PC may cause
incompatibilities with your device. Format the memory card
only on the device.
In Idle mode, select > Settings > SD card and phone
storage > Unmount SD card > OK > Format SD card >
Format SD card > Erase everything.

2) Do not enable: a) Kies starts automatically 2) Kies displays SD card in Windows Explorer

The problem is not the phone. It is wrong formatting of the SD card ("When in doubt read the instructions") and issues with the very quirky Kies program.
 
i tried evertyhing still no use..repaired 3 times...no use...still the **** :mad:problem

where can i find 2.3.5 os....:)

and when will be 2.3.7 release:rolleyes:
 
Those who are facing SD Card Removed Unexpectedly, just update your Android firmware.

Previously i was receiving this error. Then I updated it to DDLA3 version. Now my phone is fine without any problems. Heavily multitasked, played games, did internet but found no problem since the day i updated it (Almost 8 days)

Simply I updated it through my phone and my GPRS connection. Update file size is 0.5 MB to 11 MB. No KIES required. But if you update it through KIES then the size will be around 200 MB and is not reliable.

You have to update the firmware one by one. For example if your current software version is DDKJ1->update it->will become DDLA1->update it->will become DDLA2 etc and so on. After each update your phone will be rebooted.

That's it !

I HAVE SOLVED MY GALAXY Y ERROR, but before that let me tell you the solutions that I had tried that did not work for me:

The error did not occur on my original memory card but when I switch to a Kingston 8GB Class 4 the error started. My co-worker uses the same phone and switch to the same mem card and also experiencing the error since changing it.

At first i didn't mind the error but when i rooted my phone to extend my internal memory by partitioning my micro sd the problem became a big impact on linked apps on my sd card so started asking solutions to google.

Sorry for the long introduction, this what I have tried to my phone:

1) Updating my firmware - DID NOT WORK
2) resetting my phone to factory settings and formatting my sd card inside the phone - DID NOT WORK
3) Using SD-Booster and tried setting the cache to different numbers 1024, 2048 and 4096 -DID NOT WORK

There 1 option left that I have read on 1 of the forums that works
CHANGING MY MICRO SD CARD- IT WORKS (YEHEY)

someone said that TRANSCEND and SAN DISK is very much compatible for android forums so I have tried it.

I bought TRANSCEND 8GB CLASS 10 ULTIMATE - REALLY WORKS AND I ALSO TRIED PARTITIONING IT AND WORKS PERFECTLY FINE.

The conclusion here is some of the android phones are not compatible to some micro sd card.

Hope it helps :) tell me if it works for you... please indicate your memory card so we can know what brand is not compatible for android phone especially Samsung Galaxy Y :)
 
I'm using the same sd card (2gb) which was provided with the samsung galaxy y duos .. and getting the "sd card unxpectedly remved error".

Tell me the name of the card , which I shud Buy in order to get rid of this issue.. Thankz!
 
Same problem, brand new phone, latest firmware, card that came with the phone, problem occurs multiple times per day.
