I recently read an article about a completely different topic and it made me think of a similar path samsung might have taken with the galaxy s 2.

The article explains what software tweaks were made, but it made me think back to the galaxy s 2. The s ii is the first android phone that I have seen where the browser responsiveness was literally buttery smooth compared to all other android phones before it. When compared side by side with other phones, even dual core phones, the others always seem more... jittery and less responsive. This may all be due to exynos vs say, tegra 2, but I wonder if samsung performed similar kinds of tweaks in android to get that buttery smooth effect.
If so, that secret needs to expand to every device that is made.
that intel atom performance literally shocked me, I always thought the chips slowness was the only culprit in the horrific performance on netbooks, but it seems the software optimizations are as large if not larger than that.
