Help Security issue: android app permissions

Hello everyone,
Here is my problem:
My Desire Z gives permissions to some apps. which are not asked before downloading in the android market.
One example:
Advanced Task Killer by ReChild.Read Phone State and ID permission is not asket before downloading however I can see in the application settings menu of my phone that it actually has it.
I have the same problem with Ip cam viewer lite and apk installer for example.
Any idea of what is going wrong?
Thank you for your replies.

I'm not certain, but I think that only system permissions are listed. Other less potentially intrusive permissions aren't. In the Manage Applications setting applet you'll see system permissions in orange and, if you expand this, a further list of lesser ones in white.

Thank you for your reply.
The "Read Phone State" permission is an orange one and many app. ask for it
before downloading in the android market.
I have contacted Ip cam viewer lite developper who told me that this permission wasnt written in his code and then should not appear in the manage application applet. Besides another user of ip cam viewer told me
that he had not this permission in his application settings menu.
So I m wondering...

I presume the app was downloaded from the Market? If so then it may simply be a case of the OS incorrectly reporting the permissions. Perhaps uninstalling and then reinstalling will correct it?

My phone is brand new and i only have downloaded a few apps exclusively in the android market. I have also restored the device to manufacturer settings and it did not change anything...
Maybe the answer is in that post:Android Market presents incomplete list of permissions? - Android Market Help
However I need confirmation from other users with a configuration close to mine (Desire Z default settings) to make sure this is not a virus although i think it is unlikely.
