Well I have enjoyed my time in the Fascinate forums but I have to leave now. I'm having to sell my Fascinate because I need the money. I have been a Contractor for over 25 years and I'm slowly losing everything I worked for. I have never seen a economy so bad. I'm supposed to sell it this evening so I went back to my old original Moto Droid...its not as bad as I thought..I'm on Gingerbread right now :p. Its got a couple little bugs but its pretty sweet! I probably will have to leave Verizon all together to save money..might try boost mobile. They have a pretty sweet deal right now..anyways, I will probably look in and see what progress is made with the Fascinate. Good luck on Froyo guys and keep rooting! ;)

im sorry to see you go and for the struggles that you are currently facing :(

real life puts our phone obsessions, arguments, discussions, etc into perspective and makes you realize what is really important.

i wish you the best of luck going forward...and dont be a stranger around here :)
 
This is all because Samsung and Verizon are failing at releasing 2.2 Froyo for the Fascinate.

Well hate that you have to go and even worse the problems you are having. I just lost my job 2 days before christmas so I feel the pain. I hope you the best of luck. And yea come in and visit with us every once in a while..just cause you lose phone doesnt mean you have to lose touch.

Thank you and good luck to you too. I know there are alot of people worse off than me but when its happening to you its hard to see...good luck in finding work.

Good luck with everything! I'll pray for you tonight, just always keep your head high. Like they said, "There is always a storm before the rainbow." Even if to some people there are just electronics, when you sell something that has been you for a while, you develop a sort of attachment to it, and when you are force to sell it, it feels like some piece of your heart has been taken from you. But like the above poster said, with hard times, you see what is really important.

Hope you get back on your feet soon.

Poor pooooor me. Sorry I've just been patiently waiting for instant email/facebook notifications while I'm making a phone call where the screen doesn't go in and out all of the time while I am trying to navigate using a GPS that is off by at best 1/2 of a mile. That's all.

well alnova1 like david and others I know first hand the misery of cut backs downsizing and layoffs myself. Small business ventures not quite getting off the the ground well enough either so its bad everywhere. I certainly empathize with the plight. Here's to better times for all of us.
Froyo does seem trivial in the face of lack of work/income

Thank saps...like I said, there are people worse off than me. but it doesn't make it easier. The Fascinate must get Froyo! :D
