Seidio Review Update2! New Revision - Rubberized Interior

I have a bad case. I read through the post but couldn't find the contact info to get a replacment. Can someone provide the contact info please. Thanks.

Been using the black version for a couple days now. no looseness has shown up yet. also case is still tight fit. I will definitely give it couple more days to see if it will start loosening up. Good Luck to everyone...
 
I hope my replacement has the extra felt. (I have the black case)

I got replacement cases today, and I was not happy. My wife's pink one is rubberized on the inside and has the felt, including above the camera cut out. My black one is rubberized, but the felt does not go above the camera. Quite naturally, the fit is not as snug on the black one.

I PM'd Seidio, but I'm begging to wonder if they have adequate quality control in place. Sending two replacements built to two different standards for the same phone just defies ISO or any other quality standards.:(

Seidio really came through on this one. It's unfortunate some of us experienced scratches but what other company would do as much to change their product and replace them at no cost.

have you check the fitment on both phones? If both of them fit snugly then you shouldn't have an issue right?

Yup, top do the line... I honestly didn't think a company would go to their extreme and replace cases...

I got the replacements quickly so my issue isn't that they haven't tried to resolve. On the other hand, releasing two replacements with such obvious different production execution is not a hallmark of quality control.

If a restaurant served me a rare steak that I ordered cooked to medium and then came back with a steak well done after I returned it, it would mean I'd be still awaiting dinner after two attempts and too much time later. This is the same thing. All they really need is either 1) an automated equipment check via machine or 2) a visual check by a person.

Glad you got your issue resolved. I just don't like that it's taking so long for me to get there. I guess my biggest issue when it comes to things like this is that charges/payment is immediate but satisfaction isn't.

This could have been a hands-down winner for Seidio because I like to give positive reviews on companies even if they have a misstep. This is pushing it when it comes to reasonable expectation though.
 
I got a black case it was loose, didn't scratch my evo. Called and complained. Support went above and beyond. They also handled another complaint that I had on a charger. A couple of days later I received new products....

Everything is good. Case is a god fit, no squeaks.

Just got my replacement today, black without the felt over the camera area. The case does fit much tighter and feels more solid. Hopefully it stays that way.
 
Do i contact seido through their website or can i contact seidioseidio? Will i need to send in my OG case before i receive the replacement?

I contacted them through their website and then PMd Seidioseidio my ticket number so he could expedite the process. They will send you a new case and a package to send them the old one.
 
so heres a question, if you order through amazon to save a little $$ what do you get, old or new? I assume they did not "recall" the ones shipped to thier distributors .

While they might say they exchange it for the updated Version how much time and expense is it costing you to go through the process. While waiting for the new version are you going to keep V1 on your phone risking the same scratches as HTC's phone has received, i would'nt? Now you risk accidential droppage etc for the time of the exchange.

So are they forcing you to buy from them directly, to make sure you are getting the updated version, thus making more $$$ selling direct

Personally i would not be looking for this case anywhere other then Direct for a long time, i am sure the faulty versions will be shipped to thier suppliers without a care, or revision on the insides to be sold on ebay and amazon
