Root Selling My Lg Esteem but need help PLEASE

Ok so I want to sell my esteem
I have it rooted and backed up my current rom

I wanna factory data reset it because I want to erase all my accounts and info
before I sell

but im scared I might get the phone stuck on bootloop like last time when I tried messing with the cwm recovery page

will factory data reseting it make my phone get bricked?
please help.

ok so I go to cwm recovery and wipe data and factory reset?

why cant i do it from the phone settings?

If you are still on zvc or older you could use the LG updater tool to install everything stock, then just do a factory reset from the stock recovery

i got it right on my first time
and I only bought 1 and its lasted me for about 5 months now!
