i am selling my triumph and i need to know how to erase by miui, cm7, brom, & cm9 backups can any one help. should i just re format the sd and reload the downloads and roms back on to the sd?or what?

I would say to do this if you are selling it and you have a custom ROM on the phone:
  • Revert it to stock. The recovery and everything. There are a few posts about how to do this, and if you need help with it, just let us know.
  • Reformat the SD card. Or just delete everything from it.
  • Sell phone.
I would put it back completely to stock so that whoever buys the phone can activate it without any issues and can do whatever they want with it when the time comes.

yeah i posted in the cm7 thread how to do this also...

but hey, if your selling it on ebay. put a custom rom on it and sell it for more. cause some people are afraid to customize the phone for the fear of a brick. so if you do it for them the will be more likely to dish out some more $$$ for the device :D

Yea and they also wouldn't be able to activate it...

Could always keep the custom recovery on it, flash it to stock ROM before selling, but keep a factory-reset, backed-up CM7/CM9 ROM with instructions on how to restore to it after they activate. I did this selling my OV.
