Sending Desire for repairs

Hey guys, long time no post.

Long story short, after 10 great months, my Desire is fecked, it has the dreaded overheating problem, where basically, no matter what I do, be it calls, angry birds, internet, after a couple of minutes it shuts down.

So it needs to go back to T-Mob.

Now, it's rooted and is sporting LeeDroid, I'm figuring they will be rather unhappy that I am not running the phone on their software.

So what I need to know is, how the heck do I get the T-Mob software back (seeing as I never made a backup), is there place I can d/load it?

Don't fancy risking sending it to them without rolling it back to it's original state.

I'm no expert, but I'm sure you need to find what is known as an RUU for your device and it must be the version specific to your network (listed as tmo_uk) I think.

If you go here... Shipped ROMs

there should be one for bravo listed as tmo_uk. That's the one you want, and it will remove root and restore it to factory. But, I'm not sure how to flash or anything, and I would get confirmation from one of the many "experts" on here :)
