Help sending photos

Hello, I just get here and I have a question. I am using the Android RAZR M version 4.1.2 and every time I try to send a photo, I get a message that the file is too large. I don't see anywhere to change the size. I sometimes get a message that it's too large and would I like it resized, click on that and it still won't send. Can you help me with this?

Thanks

You have to use a graphics program to change the size of the file, then send the smaller file that you saved in the graphics program. If you're sending the picture in a text, I believe the maximum size is 300k (which isn't much of a picture, but texting was meant, as its name implies, for text, not for pictures.)

If you need to send a larger picture in text, put the picture on a file sharing site (you can even use a Dropbox account) and text the link to the picture (which is all "sending a picture in texting" really does, it just does it transparently to the recipient.)

Well, that seems like a lot of trouble to have to go through to send a photo. Seems like I used to send photos even with my little Samsung evergreen.

Thanks
