Help Sense 2.1 help.

Hello phandroid! Pretty new to the site and app (which I really like, great job devs!)

Ok so my question is, does anyone know when the original evo is getting the sense 2.1 update? I noticed the shift received it when I updated my girlfriends phone. I'm just a lil upset about this, and was wondering if someone could explain why we didn't get it with the gingerbread update, or if we're gonna get it.

yeah i hear you. i'm so disappointed with the latest ota. not sure why we did not get the new sense and the shift did. i have not heard or read on the reasoning behind that decision. i mean i believe our evo has a better processor then the shift, so that can't be the reason. well once the devs can find an exploit to the new bootloader, you can always root your phone. there are custom roms that are out now that have sense 2.1 and even sense 3.0 cooked in.
