Root Sense-GB SBC Kernel/Venting

I know we don't have one yet, but d@**, it's killing me not having an SBC kernel for this long. Battery life on MikG 2.1 (awesome ROM btw) is average with others' experiences, about 12hrs off charger with light/moderate use. I hate seeing the battery at <95% by the time i back down the driveway in the mornings, check FB on the throne for a few and i'm in the 80's :o LOL SBC kernel had none of that, i'd still be sporting 98-100% 2-3hrs into my day. I check this specific forum every morning at work hoping to see some progress or new kernel release, like the old timer who's still checking lottery numbers every wednesday after 50yrs of trying. I'm not bashing the devs by any means, i know they're waiting on a code release and all, but d@**, feels like i'm jonesin' for a fix and the charger leash is getting old :(

I agree. I'm pretty close to flashing back to either AOSP or 2.2

Battery life is down 30% in three hours having done nothing. I guess it's probably searching for signal, but that just seems a little extreme to me.

That's why I keep a 2.2 rom/kernel on nandroid. These GB roms are nice but use alot more battery

I don't remember when I last had a 2.2 rom on my phone. Flashing CM7, MIUI.... usually feeds my kernel flashing addiction, then back to the Sense 2.1/3.0 roms I go with that boring stock kernel:D
