I could see where a signature could come in handy. Someone who splits time between office and on the road can use the signature to let people know that they're mobile in order to contact them.

That being said, "Sent from my mobile device" seems a good choice.

I know people at work that do this, its default on the crackberry for that reason.

I turned it off, because it would have people calling my cell (crackberry) after the reply instead of automatically calling my office. Royal pain when you are on vacation and simply going through your e-mail because you are bored, waiting in line.
