Root Serendipity 4.3

5.4 might bring me back to serendipity. i always liked it but wanted to to try something else and ive been on paragon for a few weeks. there are so many ive been wanting to try though, so many roms so little time

I've been on Cognition 3.2 for a long time (I think, lol.)

Just flashed to Serendipity 5.5. a half hour ago. Very clean. Very nice. I needed to do something; this thing was getting unbearable with lag.

I'll report back with any (worthless) opinions.

i hope MikeyMike01 holds onto some fixes and releases them in batches next time instead of having a new version everytime something is fixed...as far as I know, these fixes weren't critical....I believe I flashed 5.2 last thursday and 5.5 is up already. At this rate we're going to be seeing 5.xxx before a 6.x is out

I wouldn't be complain really, Mike has made an amazing ROM and constantly is looking for ways to make it a better experience for all of us using it. So what if he has a lot of updates? The fact of the matter is, he is improving it, very fast compared to many other devs.

Just because there's a new version doesn't mean you have to update to it. There's no difference between him waiting longer between releases to roll more updates into each, and you waiting longer to update until there's a new release that has enough updates for your taste.

And the incrementals are so easy to apply that doing so is a non-event.

i know that I won't need to download the updates as they come, but I just don't want to flash from stock or enter recovery mode 10 times when I do decide to jump 10 versions or so =P

If you want weekly updates instead of daily... you know... only update once a week?
