Set CPU settings

i just rooted my phone about a week ago. and i would like to tweek my phone a little to increase it's performance. i'm pretty new to this. i'm actually surprised that i was able to even root a phone successfully at 1 try. lol. i removed all the bloatwares and haven't done shabbymod. so i guess im still running stock rom?

anyways. i ran into an app called set cpu. and i don't know exactly what to do with it. so i was wandering if you guys had any set cpu settings you'd like to recommend

At this time there is no overclock kernel available for the prevail. That being said set cpu will not be able to overclock the phone.

If you want to save battery life you could(though I didn't find any significant savings myself) use set cpu to underclock the phone.
for example stock speed is 800mhz you could set it to run at 550mhz under normal load and only allow it to ramp up to 800mhz when it gets loaded up.
You could set it to run anywhere from 122mhz to 345mhz when the screen is off. Just remember anytime you slow it down you create lag.
