Does anyone have a clue how to use this? Lol I'm trying to research but I can't find anything... Or just can't understand lol. I would like some battery saving or speed tweeks.. Why is this so hard :( :confused:
 
i have my sampling rate at 50000
my up threshold at 90
my down differential at 3
my sample down factor at 1


235ms on a short bench test.the lower the better thats at 768 mhz

the regular kernel its not the speed kernel,and its :rolleyes:fast responding and the battery is good what would u like to know :D

you can google it and check for the esteem different phones do different thing :D but i hear it will fry the processor so i gave up on it
 
Ill go ahead and tell you not to waste your time tweaking with it. Your outcome will not be anything to write home about. I've tried so many combinations and not a single one made a difference. Some people say they can tell but I dont LIE to myself and I damn sure dont get affected by placebo like some gullible naive people on here.

Save yourself the time and just leave it alone ;)

I wish somethings were easy enough and actually made a difference in battery and or performance but not so here.

Your best bet is the performance and battery tweaks that can be flashed over #2. ;)

thats what i said i didnt go past 80000 but battery life is good but fuzzy showed me the light it must not work
 
lol yeah, im already running #2 performance tweak. my battery is just fine and my performance is spectacular. But i just wanted to see if i could just improve it just a bit with setcpu. thanks :3

Well you can always flash the Blitzkreig kernel and you can overclock the phone if you want more performance. Your battery will suffer greatly though. Even at "stock" MHz, the Blitz kernel eats up more battery than the speed kernel but it's a little quicker. With one comes the other unfortunately. Honestly I think the happy medium is #2 with the tweaks. I honestly dont ever see the battery vs performance getting drastically better. Compared to other phones, we get great battery life with the performance we also get.
