I do not see where this smartass setting is?
it has gone in and out from version to version. i can't remember which kernels had it and which ones didn't, but i can say that the one included with Das BAMF 1.3 has it.
Ahh. okay. I am running stock. Just rooted this afternoon, have loaded any other roms yet....
you should give Das BAMF a try, you don't even have to wipe data/cache. i have flashed from stock to 1.1 -> 1.2 -> 1.2.1 -> 1.3 without ever wiping and haven't run into any issues.
i was at 1024 and with das left it at 1228.i agree only 2 needed.Great idea for this thread, bluejd! I was already dreading all the forthcoming setCPU threads
Main 245|1024, Smartass
Screen Off 245|245 Priority 100, Smartass
That's all that's needed, IMO. Maybe a temp profile, but people with more than 2 or 3 are really not letting the kernel work its magic
Off topic, bluejd, heard anything regarding the Barely There case for the Bolt??
i just flashed das_bamf. flashing 1.3,you dont need to flash over something else,so id personally reccomend ding a full wipe.
you guys that are running with 245 min,do you have any issues with your phone waking up? ive seen some references to not waking up well, and that alerts and notifications may not work as reliably with too slow a processor speed.
ive been keeping my min at 368,and the max at,well, the maxi was at 1024 and with das left it at 1228.
i have 3 profiles set(screen off, bat<,and temp>) maybe ill cut the latter 2 out and see how that works
I'm on das Bamf and I run only two settings
1228 MAX 245 Min Smartass
and profile of screen off 245 min 245max
No problem with screen wakes

I will try that. I think i may go back to 1.8, it just seemed to give me better performance all around.Pretty much the same here Jim. I'm maxed out too, just flipped it to smartass, but no screen off profile. I think smartass does that auto for you.
wingsfan, I don't think smartass was working all that well on 1.9. You might want to bump it up to the latest kernel.

I was using 1.9 when my performance went to shit. Is there another kernal above 1.9 out?No, don't go back. D/L the latest.
