Help Settings from home page

How do I get to "Settings" while on the home page without going thru the Settings Widget.. Most of my other phones, could bring up the "Menu" while on the home page with the settings option... Cheers

Pull down the right hand side of the screen from the notification bar.
Option should be there or accessible from there.

if your like me and would rather have the dedicated "menu" it can be added back.

However I am on cm10.1 I do not remember if this option was available on stock rom.

go to system settings then system/ navigation bar touch the unlock icon and touch menu icon then menu always show.

Are you on stock rom? 4.2.2? if you are you may consider using cm10.1 or one of the other many custom roms.
