[SGS3-R530M] Metropolis Rom [4.3 Touchwiz]

its up and going :) sorry for teh wait

some of you may notice a new app, its called rom stats. its just like the cm/aokp stat reporting all it does is take your devices info if you have it installed etc. you can disable the reporting or if you are paranoid enough remove it idc. its all open source if youd like a link, as time goes on ill be trying to make it my own like i did with the wallpapers app (which i apparently forgot :( )

to see how many people have installed the rom etc :)

i wanted to start using it and start finding out how many people use the roms i make, right now metropolis is teh only one but soon enough i can see how many people prefer what version, or even as time goes further on and we move to a new device who still is rocking metropolis. as stated this is all voluntary, dont feel obligated just wanted to have something cool where you could see how many of us there are ;)


also expect some goodies from arocker soon as he has been workin on some of yalls more fav mods :)

metropolis has a few minor tweaks, but its mostly opening it up so people can edit it. like adding v6 supercharger (cuz you guys have init.d support) or making a cool bootanimation etc etc :)

lol as cool as it is i would have been waiting til now to make 1.1.0 if it wasnt for my awesome sources (tampa boyz and Mr. X) they deserve all teh credit :)
 
Sorry if this has already been answered but i didnt see it. Is long text working with this new update? Because it wasnt working before. Atleast not for me.

yea it didnt work for me but works for mikey dunno whats up with that but perhaps its something metro is working on i dunno but with new modem radio anything is possible.

Hey don't know if you guys fixed it already... But just on case you guys didn't just replace feature.xml in the system/csc folder, reboot and try it.... It converts your long msgs to mms

actually it works in general well for most but now that u mentioned that folder it dosn't exist on my phone and i do mean the csc folder so seems i flash something wrong or something so im gonna redo.
 
I just noticed there is no boot sound when my phone boots. But gold sonic is hillarious. Is the screen supposed to flsh white while he runs?

no, this wa smy first bootanimation attempt. i wanted somehting truly custom and after several days of me asking around offering to pay someone to make me onei decided to myself, taht white flash is fixable but ive tried everything on the net with no luck
