Shadowgun....

So, has anyone tried this on their GN yet? I have to say I'm a tad disappointed. The performance difference shows between the GN and the Rezound on this one (I had no lag at all on the Rezound)... I found the Nexus to be a bit laggy. Granted, this is one of the most demanding 3d titles, but still... /sigh.

I have not tried it. Spec wise, this is what I was worried about with the HD screen and the slower GPU of the 4460. Hopefully, someone else will respond.

It runs great, don't get me wrong... just a slightly noticeable lag. Its still very much playable, and the Nexus has handled most games I've thrown at it just fine. I just wish Shadowgun were a little smoother like it is on the Rezound.

It runs pretty good for me as well. But I'm with you on this one, I have noticed some slight lag when playing it.

Just as an additional aside... I've been playing Asphault 6 and its really running perfectly on the GN. :) No lag at all. I've read that our chip actually runs nicely for certain games that use a fair ammount of textures(?), like gameloft games.

One other plus... when I was playing these types of games for extended periods of time on the Rezound, the unit would get ridiculously hot (close to 120 degrees)... and uncomfortable to hold. I have yet to push my Nexus over 100 degrees... and it was sitting comfortably at about 98 after playing Asphault 3 for quite a long time. A small thing, but a welcome difference to me (since overheating on the Rezound was one of the big issues that pushed me to the Nexus!).
