Root ShadowRom In Rom Manager.

one bug that i am getting is i can not open the sound in settings. as soon as i open settings, then try to click sound, it fc everytime. sucks cause i want to change my ringtone. another HUGE thing i have found that i really need fixed if possible is the dialer. old roms i have used, when you start to press numbers, the correlating letters would bring up names of contacts as i was dialing. now it doesnt and this is a huge thing for me. i dont want to have to scroll threw my HUGE contact list everytime i want to call someone. is their a way we can fix this? thanks.

I've had LauncherPro force close on me 4 different times today.

No 720P video.

Auto brightness is way off and practically unusable.

Gonna see where I sit in the morning, but I'll probably end up on SkyRaider Vanilla. It worked so well for me before.

mine does have 720p video. when you have the video recorder on, click the white dot for its setttings and make sure its set to custom, then open the setting tab to the far right and it now gives you the option to click on 720p, make sure you have it set to custom

No force closes in sounds for me and I have all my alerts set to custom sounds. Dialer.... there is nothing wrong with the dialer. This has the stock Android dialer and the dialers you are referring to are in Sense Roms.

Open the phone app and hit the magnifying glass capacitive button and type the name you are looking for. That is the easiest way. Alot of people like Dialer One but i have never personally tried it.

i do not have the magnifying class you speak of. i will take a screen shot of my dialer now.
 
So grandmasterB...what are the major bugs in your opinion...I am home sick from work and I just went out and bought a 16 gb sd just so I can use this ROM (Since it won't read internal)

I loved this ROM but I noticed that it Crashes and only a battery pull will let me turn it back on when my battery got kinda low . Not sure if it's related or if it was just a coincidence.

But I am okay with small bugs but not a bug that shuts my phone off. I still have it installed on my Toy Incredible and it's working okay but I had to take it off my daily use one after the crashes

Been running it for 3 days now with no real complaints but,

1- Auto backlight is flakey like CM so I just keep it at about 40%. No big deal

2- Notification LED's are flakey like CM. No big deal really

I think thats about it. I am a huge Cyanogen fan but this ShadowROM is kinda nice for a change. Very similar in a many aspects to CM but seems to be faster and having far better battery life than CM.

May seem weird, but did this happen when you were on wifi?

Because for me, when I was connecting to wifi at my house, it would act ok, just if it sat for long, when I went to use it again, there was no wifi. It had to reconnect. But I noticed that when I'm just using 3G its fine.

Today at work, I was connected to wifi, and I had a random shut off like you, and had to pull the battery.

Never had it with 3G though, and I used it all day earlier today, and all day yesterday.

Yeah I'm always conected to WiFi if , that's when this happened as well. Unfortunatly I can't try it on 3g as the phone it's flashed has not phone service and I'm not longer expierementing on my daily user phone
 
Alright...anyone want me to test any features or check for bugs??? Maps loads SUPER fast...trackpad wake works AWESOME...google nav works...it is having me download a text to speech app
 
Had to to do a restore back to 2.2 , this rom looked nice but several of my apps wouldn't work at all. :(

Are you on Wifi right now? If so, I guess if you could just tell us if you get a random shut off in which you need to pull the battery would be helpful, to me at least. I actually have King's AOSP kernel, and I'm wondering if its that.. not sure.

i am using wifi with kings kernel for the last 3 days. no shut downs, no reboots, quads in the mid 1700s. LOVE THIS SETUP so far. knock on wood.
