(not speaking for anyone else) i think its just the grey pull down bar thats getting cleared .....flips ahs been working trying to repair the stock android lock screen and also looking to make the htc one clear like in the rest of his builds even replacing the lockscreen wallpapaers with trans-pent ones is still bringing up a black screen
They got it to work on Fresh 2.0d over at xda where it's a clear lockscreen and you can see the home screen. and they finally got the android lock screen going too.

They got it to work on Fresh 2.0d over at xda where it's a clear lockscreen and you can see the home screen. and they finally got the android lock screen going too.

What is that task bar? I've been looking for a new one. I wish Fresh 2.0 had that same task bar as 1.1. i liked the blue

Start by reading my guide for creating custom lockscreens.

While it is geared towards lockscreens, the concept is the same for any graphic customization. Basically, there are apk files in your phone that contain the graphics. You just have to figure out which ones do which. On that note, keep in mind that every ROM is packaged differently. Taskbars might be in one apk in Fresh, and another in Damage. For reference, you can always download a custom "theme" or whatnot for your ROM (like a custom taskbar) and then use that as a starting point/reference for making your own.

Yup, but one very very very important step missing...
Before you ever flash something to your Phone, make sure you have a good Nandroid backup....just in case.
As long as it is a signed zip, you can flash it.
Did my backup, loaded it on my card, flashed it and waited like 10 minutes. It was still on the black HTC screen. I rebooted and ran the backup. Should it have taken that long? Try again and wait longer? I just don't know what to expect because all this is so new to me.....

You can find some different task bars on that page. It says for damage roms but since flipz used the same leak it should work on his too. Just make sure to nandroid before you flash.

It shouldn't take too long. Which ROM are you running and exactly what did you try to flash?

According to what he said, they should work with the 2.0d Fresh ROM. However, if you flash the zip and it hangs on you, my guess is something is messed up. Check over on xda and see what they have. Most of the customizations that have been put out have been tested by users there.
