Were do did you get the thing that shows the internal memory & SD card memory avalible and used? I like it but havnt seen that one befor. TIA

Yeah, I am constantly reorganizing! All the time... it must be part of the "coolness" associated with the phone. SO customizable, I love it!

LOL! Actually 1 is the stock Calculator app, 1 is a quick button app, and 1 is a scientific. I only use 2 of them, but for different purposes.



As to the question about the 4 drawers, I use ADW home launcher, then go into ADW SETTINGS -> UI Settings -> Uncheck desktop dots, check SECONDARY ACTION BUTTONS and you're good. Then you just drag and drop apps (no widgets) into the spots you want them and customize away.

I really like the Surf theme available from the Zen updater.
 
Little FYI for anyone looking for a home replacement, Launcher Pro now has a scrollable dockbar, although ADW still has a bit more customization, check both out (and home switcher)
 
You guys are so creative with these homescreens. I just recently got the hero. Is rooting necessary for a lot of these homescreens?

Not necessarily. LauncherPro can be purchased from the Market. If you want to modify your boot screen, taskbar, lockscreen then yeah you'll have to root but otherwise a lot of these things are easily attainable by a little bit of research and testing.
 
what's the widget for the big month view? i'm rooted on fresh, which is probably why i don't have that stock widget anymore.

Finally got the rom and setup I like so here goes. Everything in the themes been tweaked or pieced together from other roms and themes. Custom font, market, dialer, lock screen etc.

I only use 5 screens, the 3rd one is my home screen, and my 5th screen is just a calender that i really never ever look at but i'm all about symmetry so i can't have 4 screens lol. Picture 5 is my lock screen.(Obviously)

Thank you! I tried lol.

My launcher is Launcher Pro and I have the background of the dock set to 'Glass' with 3 docks so I can scroll through and have enough room for all my stuff without extra icons on the homescreens. The dock icons are based on the 'Blurb' set made by newone757 that you can find here:

The set is incomplete right now. I made a few more of my own to match so I would have a complete set to fit my needs. Apparently he is working on making more of them, but if you for some reason want to use some of mine while you are waiting I can send them to you :)
 
Looking for a good news widget. What news widget is that? The one that says Headlines & has the Bangladesh article?
 
These are some of the home screens I've used in the short while I've had my Hero. I change my wallpaper a lot but I think I'm sold on the clear clock and weather from Beautiful Widgets.
