sharing apps

Is it possible to share apps (free/purchased) with another android phone? My wife just got the LG optimus s a few days ago and there are some apps that I paid for that she wants also. I'm asking here because I'm thinking the only way is to transfer an apk to the CPU then to her phone. And she would have to be rooted to do that. Is there another way? The ones she wants aren't cheap. ..

You should always pay the dev for the App.....
That being said - You may be able to e-mail the apk......it might not work if a Lic# is required.....

Like^^^^ he said, bump would work for free apps but I'm afraid that paid applications are linked to your google account, so I don't you will be able to share those. I'm sure it's illegal anyways;)

I always support the developer, mostly because I am one too, by paying for his or her hard work, if it is a paid app. I do not have a ton of paid apps, but usually if I use the free or lite version enough, I will get the paid one.

As for free apps, she could just download what you already have onto her handset for free from the Android Market. That should be an easy process.
