Shorten tap interval for punctuation?

Is there any way to shorten the tap interval for the keyboard? For example, if I want to put a question mark at the end of a sentence, I can tap and hold "k" until the question mark appears, or, I can pres "12#" and tap "?"

Is there a way so that I can make the "tap and hold" shorter, so that the question mark will appear more quickly?

I don't think so. I think the phone wants to make sure you're are purposely trying to type the "?" instead of "k" otherwise, it can't differentiate between the two.

Good question but I'm guessing Woop has it right. At least it auto inserts and you don't have to select it after the longer hold.

That's too bad. My Blackberry Storm gave users that option, but c'est la vie, the Incredible blows the Storm out of the waters.
