i finally got the 2.2 froyo upgrade for my ascend installed fine. but still cant get the flash player to install on it. i downloaded the flash player for 2.2 froyo i found on google and it wont install. tried several times thinkin maybe bad download, still no luck

has anyone got flash player to work on ascend with 2.2 froyo upgrade?

No flash is not possible on this phone no matter what version of android you have. This is because of our arm6 processors will not support Flash.....Sorry hope this helped

Top entry Android Phone PERIOD. Especially for those who want to dabble into mods and roms for updates. For anyone who uses this phone stock it can stutter for an android phone...but is good for almost everything except streaming content.

It's possible. It's just hit or miss due to the fact its not a supported phone for Adobe compatibility list. I had flash working before flashing to Gingerbread Rom using Skyfire. Now I'm using Dolphin with Gingerbread and its a no go. (Might try Skyfire again)

would a better phone like maybe the Samsung indulge get better reception And sound quality? the reason I ask is my huawei acsend drops calls, sound quality goes in and out when talking to somebody, no signal or low signal. please reply back thanks

The biggest factor in call quality is your coverage in your area.A great phone w/o decent coverage is going to leave you as disappointed,or more so,than with what you have now.
Best way to know for sure is to try out a demo from a store in your area.

Ok flash will not work on this phone for a few reasons one being we have an arm6 processor not arm7, also there is no dedicated gpu on the ascend therefore flash will not work.Skyfire however converts the video on their servers to mp4,then sends it back to your phone
