Show off your 360 with different bands and faces

Hey drex, do you mind if I put that pic of the measurement on reddit?

Better if you link the post. To get the direct link, just hit the # to the right of the post.

Still experimenting, but here's my face right now, using Beautiful Watches

Picture Day here at school, so you KNOW I had to make sure when we took the class pic, I had my watch visible, LOL. Even showed it off to the parents last night at Open House. :)

Just want to say again that this watch is DAMN SEXY.

That's the number one reason I bought it.

I concur with both. Already got tons of compliments on it. Even though I've never been a big fan of leather bands, the grey leather is a suede leather and feels really nice. Even though I plan on swapping it out with a metal band, I do have to compliment Motorola on the quality. Very comfortable.

I must concur with the fact that Horween leather Motorola utilized is really nice. I didnt even realize the watch is there and that's how a watch should feel.

Where I work there is a classified area where I can't take my watch. A smart watch is the equivalent of a cell phone and since it has bluetooth it's not permitted. When I head back to work I'll probably stick to wearing my G-shock watch. But if I do wear my Moto 360 then I have to put it in a cell phone holder with my watch before going into that area.

I wish our watches supported group text messages.

Can I just post the zip from my Facer folder? If I can I'll post it when I get home.

OR PM me your email address and I'll send it to you directly. It's not that big.

Edit: You know, Facer seems to be the most battery friendly watch face changer that I've tried. That's including the "non updatable" single watch faces. I've fussed with this all day long and I was at 65% just now. The only reason I put it on the charger was to get it over 80% in case the update pushes.

Ok try this. If you have any problems let me know.

I cannot take credit for the image. I just got it off of a Google search.

mainewords: the zone

Be warned that it is asymmetrical so it might take you just a quick second to see the time. LOL. But I think that's part of why I like it. You could probably use Facer to rotate it to a more normal state that would be more naturally read.

UPDATE - Regarding 21mm vs. 22mm band

On Android Central, there's a thread discussing band replacement and one of the users used to work at a jewelry shop. He had measured with a more accurate ruler and confirmed 22mm...That said, I think it's going to be hit or miss, so when shopping for bands that haven't already been proven to work, I'd say just make sure you do measurements on that band and the Moto 360, before doing any DIY or modification.

I still plan on attempting to modify the band I bought, but wanted to post info that the situation seems to be YMMV.

The dark grey leather band has a soft nubuck/suede type of finish; the loops started to get darker than the rest of the band from wear.

I have the black band. The exterior appears completely brand new. The inside, the part up against your wrist, is suede-like and is slightly darker on two small spots. But, I mean, I'm splitting hairs to find something here.

My grey band is definitely starting to show signs of wear...but since it's a "wearable" device I'm kind of expecting that. It's become a lot more pliant over a week or two of use, the first few days it was super stiff, but now it's getting broken in it's even more comfortable.

I'm considering using the leather band all winter, and getting a metal band for summer, though I haven't really worn anything with a metal band in years.

I *really really* need to sit down with Photoshop and make some watch hands and stuff. I'll share as soon as I do :D

Lol... I am awful at photoshop, but did my best to try getting what I was going for with some images I found

I used Beautiful watches app, with image I put together.

Anyone interested in selling their dark grey m360 band PM me! Or trading dark grey for brand new stone grey band.

Thanks! I have the minute and hour hands done... but I messed them up a little bit. Just because of weirdness the way Facer handles where the center of rotation is. I need to make some minor modifications to them and I'll post it again.

I've Photoshopped different hands about 30 times tonight and I just can't get them to look *right*. I give up :)

The one I posted, while not authentic Rolex hands, looks the best of what I've done so far.
