New to smart phones and new to the forum. Noticed this thread while I was looking for help on another matter. Anyway thought I may aswell join in, only got the phone yesterday so still playing with it.

quick question dazo what clock are you using am editing my centre screen at the moment and am looking for another clock widget, i had one just like that before but due to the lack of space on the desire i have since got rid of that

if you've got the hang of changing icons, you should really do a lot more with your home. You can easily knock together matching icons for your whole screen in 30minutes.

How do you change the icons for each app and change the name? at the moment i am using an app called app organizer which makes me able to put apps such as xbox related into a sub folder and change the icon of that folder not change the actual apps icon.
 
ok i have installed launcherpro via the .apk file but cant find the app on the phone to start playing around. Anyone got advice on this?
 
had a tweak at launcherpro seems very promising although i like some of HTCs widgets :( thats the only down fall i do prefer the glass dock at the bottom compared to sense as dont use any of it

Just bought my Desire yesterday, now to wait for it to arrive. Looking through this thread makes it dam hard to wait.

Looks like beautiful widgets home screen, there's a ton of different skins for it hence quite a few people using something that looks similar but still nice and different.

Maaaan! OMG, HOW DID YOU CHANGE ICONS?! AE YOUR STILL IN 2.1?

I TRIED CUPCAKE, BUT NO LUCK, LOOKS LIKE CONSTANTLY FIGHTING WITH SENSE....

and btw, were icons from jajaja :p
