Root 'Shutdown Animation Changed & NEW BOOT SOUND' FINALLY

Why's the file so big, if you don't mind me asking?
 
Is there a way of changing the startup MetroPCS logo too? That would be great.
I'm going to re-Rom my phone tonight and fix things up when I get the chance.

Thats in my thread..... Download the bootani.qmg file and folliw directions :)

I havent Posted The Boot Animations yet that replace the samsung logo because to me there kind of lame but, ill post some good ones soon :D:D:D;)

Your Right and like i said before i made this thread i give all credit to you because you should me that it was possible and i now found out how to change the bootanimation( both start up and samsung logo) also start up sound and shutdown sound and also how to put a custom animation before the phone turns off.

I would love to work along your side add me and anyone else reading this feel free to add me.

For Images Permission( Only things that need to be checked)

Read Write Execute
>Owner Owner
>Group
>Others

Click Ok and change The top make to Mount R/O
And Phone should reboot

Cant Its against the rules on this site

1. Go to 4shared.com
2. type in Root Explorer.apk
3. Look One that was recenty Posted( Most likey it will be the up to date one)
4. Wait for countdown
5. click link and it will start to download
6. Make sure that Unknown sources Is Checked and install
7. Done

Try It with this it should work
 
Good news is that I got the permissions set and everything. I even changed the startup sound correctly.

Bad news is my phone Still wont shut off.. permissions and everything is fine I don't understand whats wrong!! :(
 
The way that the process works is that I take the call that the phone is shutting off, and at that time, it starts a process with ffmpeg. It then takes the video and dynamically creates the images with permissions and audio to boot with it. This is the only way I have figured out how to do something like this so far. I am thinking that I might be able to write a hook that starts a process when the bootani.qmg file is called and stops that process and in place, run my own process running some other video or image list overtop of the screen. I plan on including this is Equinox when it's done. But as of right now, I am working on the overclocking and bluetooth radio.
 
It's cool. The way I can create these images using the alpha version of my tool from videos, makes things easy to make more.
