Help Sign in error for g-mail?

[bigbadwulff]

Just got a notification for a sign in error for g-mail.
1) Never had this before.
2) I don't really use g-mail
3) the stupid letters you have figure out and put in(hate those things!!) aren't really legible.

I know, if you don't use it, what's the point. Just wondering if others are getting this or if this is some kind of malicious thing.

Stock Froyo(so this is not something after the gingerbread update)

I would check the link back and see where it goes. Dont click on it, but view the entire url and see if it comes from Google. If you didn't log in to your Gmail, my money is on the fact that it is spam.
