I am new on this site, and i just got a samsung andriod dont know the model because i am new on this devices, but one thing my friend told me is that the phone losses signal.(the friend which gave me the phone) both for network and wi-fi, when he gave it to me i notice that it did not matter what provider it was it still had the same proble. so i figured that it is the phone signal that is causing problem. does anyone has had or have an android with this problem. the signal does no get back neither if i switch to plane mode then to normal mode. if i try to dial it says network not available but sometimes it gets phone signal. Has anyone solved this type of problem or is it that i might have to throw the phone away. i love the phone and its awsome! just want to use wi-fi and it seems i cant because of this problem.

OP - sorry for your troubles.
Can you try using an app like Open Signal Maps and see if your cell signal is really varying, or just weak.
