Root Signal Problems

This may be on the forum... but I can't find it. I rooted to KaosFroyo v 34 and it killed my signal. Anyone have a fix?

Try manually programming your device

1. dial ##778
2. SPC code is 000000
3. User activation/NAM programming
4. Enter MDN, MIN, and SID (if you do not know this, call Verizon.)
5. Hit menu, then commit modifications.
6. phone will restart and you should have service again.

Unless I am mistaken, Kaos Froyo does not support ##778 programming yet. You'd have to Nandroid backup, install (or restore) a 2.1 ROM that does, run these commands, then Nandroid restore Kaos Froyo to do this. Again, unless something has changed very recently.

That is correct. Hopefully somebody fixes this.
