I went to verizon to deal with my silent issue. The option was to get a new or refurb phone, that doesnt have the OTA 2.1 update. Well, what is the point, if once I get the update, I have the same issues again?

the silent issue is a hardware problem i think. ive never had it on 1.5, 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3, or any of the roms i have used based on the various leaks.
get a refurb and root it using the plain jane rom. its based on the ota and i havent heard a single issue with the silent call bug
