Help SIM Unlock Issue

Ok, changed the ROM to
HD incredible sensation by newtoroot. Its a world ROM.The Imei number popped up straight away. I put in a T Mobile Sim with the notch facing down and booted up. First sceen up asked me for an unlock code I input the number, it rebooted and was able to make a call on T Mobile.

Just thought you guys might be interested that the bionic, razr, and DROID 4 are all working on gsm. Their sim slots are completely unlocked. Yes that's lte phones also working on gsm. They just need a nvm edit. Bionic on tmobile - xda-developers

Hi Folks, I, too, had a sim card that was upside down in the phone. Since this is the first GSM phone I have ever had, I had no idea that the card was installed wrong. Thanks so much to the person who posted the solution that worked for me. Whodathunket, eh? lol, Wee

Hi Folks, Now that I have finally unlocked my phone, I still can't use the GSM side with Straight Talk. All I get is a "Network or SIM Card Error," in the part where you set the GSM Call Settings. What else could be wrong? I have set the Preferred Network to GSM/UTMS Mode.

I called Straight Talk and after trying my SIM unsuccessfully in my iphone, they are sending me a replacement SIM. I'll let everyone know how that goes.

Hi Folks, I got my replacement SIM card yesterday and followed the instructions to install it and then call Straight Talk. The kind lady tech did some "stuff" on her end and voila, my phone works great!!!!! I am so loving this!!!!! Thanks for all the info on this site that helped me get my phone working.
