Root Similar to Cyanogen for Droid X

I haven't really been keeping up with current events, but i believe cyanogen has yet to be ported over to DroidX. Is there any alternative that's close?

cvpcs who originally started on an AOSP rom for the X recently stepped down from GEM to take a roll with Cyanogen in order to start work on a CM port the the DX. As to a release date? TBA
 
try apex...I used cyanogen on my g1 and loved the speed and ability to customize.

I run a lot of custom themes and overall the speed/reliability with Apex is unmatched...I back this up with having flashed every other rom and as much as I like things like liberty/fission...they lack support on some crucial items I use and aren't as consistent as apex has been
