Root Simple question

Rooted dx on apex. I accidentally bent my charging/usb port. I'm going to take it into the Verizon store. If I recovery back to an old image, then unroot, will the market download the apps I had before I recovered? And will anything on my sd be deleted/altered? Thanks

Nothing on sd will be lost. Your market apps will still be in your recovery version.
 
If I go to verizon then, and get a new phone entirely, my apps will redownload from my google account, right? I'll just have to re-do z4root and re-rom? Sorry for the silliness guys, been awhile since I've thought about this stuff. Thanks for the patience
 
so i recovered to my most recent image, and it has not downloaded my apps that i hadnt yet (at the time that i made the image) purchased from the market. am i SOL now? I thought it would download apps even if i went back in time because of my google acount...F. any help?

EDIT: i rebooted twice...that's all i know to do

any apps you purchased are linked to your google account. if they dont automatically download go into market>menu button>my apps and anything youve purchased that isnt downloaded will be in there and say purchased next to it.
