Root Sirius XM App - rooted 2.2 deodexed

Like the title states, I'm rooted and deodexed with the original 2.2 leak. I'm trying to run the sirius xm app and it will constantly say it is trying to reacquire a connection. I never get to hear any stream at all.


I've modified all the stagefright lines in the build.prop file and rebooted - still the same issue.

The ROM I am using is jonathanmsims posted method.



EDIT: Just restored back to a plain-jane 2.2 that I had and it works just fine. I lost my theme and deodex though, that was provided by jonathanmsims ROM posting. :(
 
working fine here with just the stagefright player edit in build prop, nothing else, on rooted 2.2 leak, but not deodex, becuase i really dont see much benefit.
 
Yeah, I just don't get it. Guess I'll just stick to my themeless 2.2 backup until FlyX 1.0 is out.

Not to hate on Fabulous, but his themes caused me to have that syncing icon stuck in my notification bar whenever I tried to use them - or else I'd got that route myself. :)


But I also think just holding out for 1.0 is my best bet, at this time.
 
I bit the bullet and reinstalled FlyX 0.1 and this is working just fine now. I'm guessing you were right that the 2.2 ROM I installed before had some issue with it's deodexing.
 
I use Wunderradio to listen to Howard. You still have to have an account but it works good. If it loses signal for a sec it will cut out though and you have to reload the channel but all and all its pretty good.

A theme couldn't do that. Did you restore with TiBu?

That could've done it. I installed FlyX (which involved a data/cache wipe) so I had to reinstall all my apps. I have since then done a clean install of FlyX and downloaded apps independently instead of thru a batch type of way - it's working perfect now. :)

How do I install this on my Captivate? I tried the download from Sirius XM but it says something about being blocked. I've tried the Wunder Radio app and it seems to be broken. This morning it said that due to inactivity I needed to re-log in. When I tried to do so, it gave the exact same message-there was no screen to log in. Help appreciated.
