Backups start at 3AM eastern, and only take about 10 minutes.

I realized early on that I wasn't getting it as often as others cause I was either using Tap at that time of morning or wasn't on the computer at all.

That's called "The Ultimate Remedy," to most any computer or handheld device related issue.

I see the fault quite often - possibly every 2-3 days. It happened just a few minutes ago and lasted several minutes.

I had an email notification of a topic reply - clicked the link - saw the post - tried to reply and BOOM! NGINX error. It's getting pretty tiresome to see it so often. Not very professional.

Yeah the nginx error again.. stopped me in the middle of some basic Guide tasks. I checked back every 10 or 15 minutes for about 45 minutes I think.. finally got in just now.

Yep, I restarted apache again as I had seen it too. A couple times today.
