On my older Galaxy Nexus I have a twitter Widget in a 4x1 size as shown here:
The insurance replacement for a second Galaxy Nexus arrived today and, after going through the various upgrades I tried to get my screens back to the same state and I can't get a twitter widget to go that small. In the widget section of the applications menu there is a choice of two with the smallest being 4x2 though for some reason the 4x2 widgets seem to actually only use 4x1 worth of space centred vertically in the two cells of height, like this:
The widget, once installed, does not seem to re-size using the standard re-size mechanism, i.e. tap and hold and then adjust the box with the dots. I am struggling to think how I can have got the widget installed at the smaller size but it is someting I am keen to repeat as then it would play nicely with Friendcaster (a 4x3 widget) in the other half of the screen to make a "social networking" screen.
Any ideas?
