Help Skip verizon startup

How can i skip the verizon startup, to enter the phone applications for use like a Pda, because I don

It seems to me that you can skip entering a primary email account when first starting the phone after a master reset. The phone functions will likely always be on the phone unless you can find a custom ROM where the phone functions were somehow removed.

How can i skip the verizon startup, to enter the phone applications for use like a Pda, because I don´t have a Cdma network only Gsm.There is a way to do that?

When the phone first starts and you get the android that says touch the screen to begin, touch the top left corner, then top right, then bottom right, then bottom left. Doing this skips the setup and you can just set up what you want from there

I have the screen showing "Screen Locked", is here where i have to touch the corners?
