rmb3kgt

Lurker
i did a search and found the instructions to type about:debug in my browser, which adds the debug section to my settings area. that worked, but part 2 was to change UAString to desktop, yet the UAString field does not exist under my debug section.

anyone got their skyrocket to use normal web for everything, and not use mobile web?

to be clear, i have the Samsung Galaxy S2 skyrocket from ATT

please help.

EDIT ------------------
use the following

type: about:useragent and hit go

for me, on the skyrocket, it brings up radio button options. if you go into manage applications, and clear data and/or clear cache, you'll have to redo the aforementioned

I tried typing about:config in the default browser which did nothing. Now any attempt to type about:debug into it takes me to about:config, which... does nothing. I tried about:config (which I use in my desktop version of Firefox all the time) into my mobile Opera browser and it brought up a nice preferences screen which has an option for spoofing the User Agent string.

just found it.
