Skyrocket on Verizon?

GalaxyNexus

Android Enthusiast
I've been furious about the lack of info on the Galaxy Nexus. So now I'm wondering if the Skyrocket is Verizon LTE compatible.

Thanks.:)

No. and if you are on Verizon then get the Razr now - it will be better than the Nexus. Much thinner and lighter.

I thought Verizon a and AT&T both use 700mhz frequency for lte?

I have not looked it up..but if that were even the case you would have no phone service, no 3g, no mms, no txt etc...

you would basically have an LTE internet device.

your choices on verizon would be to wait for the nexus (early december or January), or pick up the razor or bionic..or wait till late q1 when everyone else will get the nexus.

First Skyrocket is a GSM phone. Verizon uses CDMA technology.
Second their LTE is on a different frequency than what ATT is using...

Most likely doubtful also because the RAZR allows only for the phone to run in either CDMA or LTE mode, per the phones "network settings".
