Root SLCD Inc cant Boot AOSP ROMs?

I had a rom i loaded fine on my AMOLED Inc, but since i got a SLCD Inc (the amoled's screen cracked) i cant load this rom for the life of me...but sense ROMs work fine


ANd i rooted using unrevoked 3.21 , so i a SOFF, rooted, and using Adryn's cracked out clockwork,

The issue is with the kernels device modules (drivers). I don't think many if any of the AOSP roms and their kernels have the SLCD support just yet. I know Koush was working on something. I heard a rumor that Ruby also worked but the person testing it was only able to get it to work 1 out of 3 times. That may be related to the RomManager issues though. I imagine within a week we'll see something stable get released by someone and it filter throughout the community.

It's not so much the ROM as it is the kernel. Some ROMs come with custom kernels. What kernel are you using with Miui?

If you promise to stop stealing peoples work and spinning it off as your own you can come into IRC and learn how to compile a kernel that will work for your SLCD Inc.

I was able to get cyanogen to work on an slcd dinc by flashing KK Aosp CM kernel after rom flash

How can I tell if what screen is in my DInc? I bought it about 2 months ago from Bestbuy after a long Dinc drought, I think it was the only one they had gotten in. I have successfully run a bunch of roms including nix and id's miui. But there might have been one a few weeks ago that was unresponsive to the screen touches. I might have resolved it with a reboot or flashing another rom, I've been known to be habitual flasher, especially after I throw a few back
