[nivekk]

Is there a way I could have my slide out keyboard out and still have autocomplete/spell check functionally?

Thanks

use a different soft keyboard, such as the droidx multitouch keyboard on the earlier velocity roms. i believe better keyboard from the market has this function as well.

If you don't want to root your phone swiftkey from the market does a good job.

I +1 swiftkey...designed very smooth...LOTS of different keyboard apparently out there...swipe is nice too.
A +1 for keyboard as well..works nice as well.

Oh. ..all these keyboards have the option you're asking about...and the stock one does NOT have an option for it. :/
