"Slide to Unlock" lag improvement

Ok, maybe I'm delusional from the 101 degree weather here in Charlotte, or maybe I actually did see a decrease in the amount of lag in the "Slide to Unlock" home screen.

I disabled the Screen Lock and enabled the Security Lock under "Location & Security Settings" under "Settings". After deciding I wasn't as happy with this feature as I thought I might be, I went back to the original settings and it appears that the lag is not as evident in the "Screen Lock" now.

It's worth a shot.

A bit off topic, but i've been noticing some general lag with the phone in like when im typing it will take a second to catch up or viewing webpages it will lag. This a memory problem? I haven't downloaded all kinds of apps or anything. Any advice?

there is a setting to change when the lock activates. change it to When Screen Is Off. when you hit the lock button to turn the screen off it will enable the lock.

Great find! After changing to the security lock, my droid had severe lag. I immediately turned it off and turned the slide lock back on and it is definitely smoother. Unreal.
