Sling Demo on EVO!!

i don't know how this works so i guess time to do some researching. i get the basic concept, though. interesting.
 
Will I have to buy a new Sling Box? I have the original version, that I have used and loved for about 5 years. I always used a P.C. to watch my directv while in Spain every July. Spainish tv is boring till about midnight when it turns into porn tv.
 
That looks Amazing. I have a Slingbox Solo and an iphone but I am less than impressed with the video. With the iphone slingplayer doesnt even use the whole screen which is pretty weak. I was already thinking about switching and seeing this video probably seals the deal.

yes you will need either the slingbox solo or slingbox hd. a good buddy of mine is part of the private beta team

I have a huge question for your buddy then. Will the application be able to utilize the hdmi output function on the EVO and then send the signal to my TV? That could be huge. I would definately get it then. I am looking at this to be able to hook it up in my vehicles entertainment system or anywhere else I may go where I could view my home TV. Please ask him to hook this up to his HDTV and see if he can output that signal from the sling player app. HUGE!!!!!!!
