Help SMS avatar

[RunVert]

When creating a text, I notice that there is a blank avatar for myself and the person I am texting. How do you change the blank avatar to a picture of that person? I cant find the setting for to change that option anywhere....hmmm

[Mr. Ed]

are you using the stock sms app? it carry's that picture over from that person's profile on your contact list

you will edit this from people, find contact, edit, click on the blank avatar at top left

yes stock SMS. So if I want to add a photo of myself to my avatar, then I would need to add myself to my own contact list?..hmm
Alright...thanks for the help!

i think so. it works differently in handcent ... you just click on the avatar and you can add it there.

you should be in your contacts list already ..I was as "my number" or something like that
