Help SMS to MMS Conversion Problem

My htc evo 4g+ model x515E automatically converts an sms txt to an mms after i input 90 characters....how could i turn this off.....plz help.

sorry no one has posted a reply yet for you as we do not have an evo 4g+ forum.

but what messaging app are you using? stock? have you tried any other messaging app?

I am using the default message composer that comes with the phone...i downloaded gosms and it does not convert but it only allows 90 characters per txt....i can however send a long txt with go sms but it jus charges more since i can only send less characters....when i want to send a long text i use Big sms but its not convenient to hold a conversation....hope someone can help to make the message composer allow for 140 or 160 characters....tanx

ok well i'm not sure then. i wonder if it is a carrier thing because my go sms pro allows me to use 160 characters with no issues.

Yes it allows....but it jus charges for every 90 characters as opposed to 160 characters for you...

ay...our carrier allows you to send 160 characters per sms.
